This was my first experience with NLP coaching.
I’ve always relied on willpower to make the changes that I’ve wanted in life.
It’s worked for lots of things, but for others, I’d get tired and slowly slip back into the old way of doing things.
I’m a very private person, so I didn’t like the idea of sharing so much with someone I didn’t really know, but I really wanted help, so I just sent an email saying how I felt.
It turned out that there are ways to be coached without even having to say what the problem was!
I was offered only content-free sessions, and we could just see how they went.
That sounded perfect, so I decided to give it a go.
As we went through the Core Transformation process, I moved through each new layer of what was going on inside me – without having to say any of it.
When I finally arrived at my Core State, the relief was unbelievable.
We carried on, transforming well-intentioned parts that wanted to protect me by hiding away.
By the end, I could not find a single part that wanted to stop me from having what I wanted.
Now, I sometimes feel like a wobbly newborn, taking my first steps after avoiding everything for so long, but it’s nothing like what I’d thought it would be, and it’s definitely better than hiding.
I’m so glad I now know someone who can help me, if I decide to ask again.

Totally blown away after personally experiencing the Self-Concept model.
I had no idea that there is actually a process to map how I think about my ‘self’.
And change it, if I want to.
We started out looking at the positive qualities I already know I have.
I discovered that I’m very visual, and so when I think of memories of a positive quality, I always see them in a certain way in my mind.
Once mapped out, we moved on to becoming more certain about a positive quality that I wanted (confidence) but wasn’t so certain about in myself.
We then reviewed my examples of not being confident and found that some were actually examples of other positive qualities.
The rest, which I was sure meant that I wasn’t confident, we took through the Core Transformation process and linked each transformed example to its old memory.
It’s hard to explain, but now that I have a way of easily being able to see all those transformed pictures in my mind, whenever I want them, it just seems that there is now much more room to choose how I want to be in those situations.
I burst out laughing at the end.
This is such a different approach to change work.

I was worried that if I spoke to someone something might go wrong, and then I might be stuck.
They told me the first step was to discover what my values are and that this wouldn’t change anything.
I’d just have a useful map of what is really important to me.
So I said OK.
I found out that protecting myself is very important to me so that I can live a more peaceful life.
I have now done some Core Transformation and it has helped me a lot.

Next-level stuff.
I got really clear about what is important to me in life and now have a regular session once a month.
In each session, we update my Quality ‘databases’ and generally arrange my internal world so that I’m in the best position to keep moving in the direction that I want.
I’m more productive than I’ve ever been, and I finally feel like I’ve built up the momentum to start living my life on purpose.
Now, I treat my mental hygiene like visiting the dentist.

I don’t know if you’re the type of person who can imagine how useful it would be to get good with Conversational Hypnosis...
But I am! :D
I love language and enjoy playing with words.
Lots of people find that when they start doing something that they really enjoy, they don’t need to try to focus, you just easily absorb everything that’s going on.
Now, with me, I feel like that when I’m practising my conversational skills.
I work in Sales, so learning something like Conversational Hypnosis is great for tailoring my pitches so I can meet the specific needs and wants of my clients exactly.
At this point in my journey, these sessions are like having a Conversational Hypnosis Sparring Partner.
When I book a session, we warm up with what I’m good at and then I get stretched with new patterns to see how far I can go.
The outcome is always improving my abilities through actual practice, methodically, and with repetition.
Getting good at these skills has been a massive professional success for me.
The results easily pay for all my ongoing training and improve pretty much every other area of my life.
So, if you can imagine a point in the future, where you can clearly see yourself really enjoying the benefits, personally or professionally,
of learning a new skill like Conversational Hypnosis, and can look back to now, as this being just the start of that – then this training is for you!
